Wim is an Evထlve Certified CFT Trainer , musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinician, researcher and educator. He has a particular interest in the integration of a multi-dimensional clinical reasoning process and person-centred communication to enhance self-management in patients with persistent musculoskeletal pain disorders.

'Day 1'
Online
- 'Day 1' starts immediately as you enrol at Evoolve Pain Care Academy
- Prior to the first in-person session - Day 2, watch 5 hours of lectures by Prof. Peter O'Sullivan and Dr JP Caneiro (Evထlve Certified CFT Trainers) about the multidimensional nature of low back pain and Cognitive Functional Therapy
- Complete 4 online quizzes and achieve >70% to recieve PE/CPD points (3 attempts provided)
Day 2
In-person
- Watch Cognitive Functional Therapy consultations including the patient story (interview), physical examination and management plan from the first consultation to post-discharge
- Discuss clinical reasoning with your colleagues and Prof. Wim Dankaerts (Evထlve Certified CFT Trainer)
- Learn about the Cognitive Functional Therapy multidimensional Clinical Reasoning Framework form
Day 3
In-person
- Watch a more complex case application of Cognitive Functional Therapy consultation from the first consultation to post-discharge
- Apply the Cognitive Functional Therapy multidimensional Clinical Reasoning Framework form
- Discuss clinical reasoning with your colleagues and Prof. Wim Dankaerts (Evထlve Certified CFT Trainer)
- Learn about the research supporting the effectiveness of CFT
- Develop an understanding of the training pathway to become an Evထlve Certified CFT Practitioner
Post course
Online
- Receive access to the remainder of the course and CFT consultation videos
- Complete the remainder of the online course (1-3 hours)
- Rewatch and revise the content as needed
- Sucessfully complete the final quiz and be awarded with the Evထlve Certificate of Foundational KNOWLEDGE of CFT

50% discount with proof of enrollment.
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled full-time in a health degree.
